When you sync hands, two things happen — and they work very differently.
How it works when you sync a hand
Your stats from that hand go into a private column that only you can see. Opponents' stats go into the public community database immediately.
When someone who was at your table syncs the same hand, the system detects the overlap. Your stats for that hand are promoted to public — because a second independent source confirmed it.
No single upload can expose your stats. It takes two independent players uploading the same hand before any data becomes public. You control your exposure by choosing what to sync.
Your Stats
Only you can see your own statistics. They stay completely private until another player at the same table independently syncs that same hand.
You can always view your full private stats in the "My Stats" tab. Your public profile (what others see) appears in the opponent list alongside everyone else.
Opponent Stats
When you sync, your opponents' aggregate stats enter the community database right away. Every user benefits from the data you contribute.
The more people sync, the more complete the picture. You can see stats on opponents you've never personally faced.
